A fine impression of this print by Nisbet, a respected Connecticut paniter and very fine print maker, who focused on the tranquil beauty of Kent, along the Housatonic River, in the northwestern corner of the state, focused on sp[orting and bathing scens along the river, views of the quaint town of Kent and surrounding verdant hills. His prints demonstrate a mastery of technique and vision akin to French printmakers of the late 19th century, such as Lalanne, Daubigny and Appian. Nisbet was also a founder of the Kent Art Association. and member of the National Academy of Design.
